Pay less (£9) with CC Auto Pay and protect yourself from fines.
Online
Pay online up to 90 days in advance, on the day of travel or by midnight the next charging day. The charge is £10 if you pay in advance or on the same day, or £12 if paid the following charging day.
If you've registered with us you can track all your charge payments online too.
By text message (SMS)
You can only pay by text to pay the charge on the day of travel.

You need to register for an account and
- First register for an account online or by calling 0845 900 1234
- Once registered, call us on 0845 900 1234 to activate your text payment service
- You'll always receive a confirmation text message when your payment has been successful
By phone
Pay the charge in advance, on the day of travel or up to midnight the following charging day. The charge is £10 if you pay in advance or on the same day, or £12 if paid the following charging day.
Outside of call centre hours, payments for travel on the day can still be made online up to midnight at a charge of £10. If you've registered with us you will also be able to make payments for the same day up to midnight at a charge of £10 by mobile phone text message (SMS) or via the Automated Telephone Service.

At a shop
Pay the charge in advance or on the day of travel.
You can pay the charge in cash where you see the Congestion Charging sign or the epay logo.
You may be able to pay by cheque and credit or debit card at some shops.
By post
Only if you're paying in advance. We must receive it 10 days before you travel.
Download, print and fill out the payment form then post it to the address on the form.
