Knightsbridge Tube station

Knightsbridge Tube station will have step-free access by mid-2024, reached by a new entrance at Hooper's Court.

Three new lifts will make the station step-free from street level to platform. Boarding ramps on both platforms will help customers get onto Piccadilly line trains step free.

Other entrances to the station will stay open during the works.

Works at the station

2022: A new entrance opened in October at 15 Brompton Road.

From 2017: Working with the Knightsbridge Estate team, we began preparatory works around the Tube station entrance at 1 Brompton Road.

This entrance on the corner of Sloane Street and Brompton Road was later closed. The space there was changed into a retail unit - shop fronts on this stretch of Brompton Road are being restored using heritage features.

2016: The Knightsbridge Estate was granted permission to redevelop the space above Knightsbridge Tube station.
