People sitting on steps The 18+ Student Oyster photocard scheme is open to students on mandatory Placements in London, although special arrangements apply

To be eligible for the travel concession under this arrangement, a student must be:

18 years of age or over
Enrolled on a full-time course consisting of at least 15 or more tuition led/and or structured learning hours a week over a period of at least 14 weeks
On a placement which is an integral and essential part of their course
On a placement in London for a minimum period of 14 weeks

* For BT residential customers, calls to the Oyster helpline will cost no more than 3.5p per minute, (current at May 2007). The price on non-BT phone lines may be different.
