You can use Oyster to pay as you go on all London's buses and trams (including some sections outside Greater London)
You cannot use Oyster to pay as you go on some bus routes that operate primarily outside the Greater London area and on certain special bus services and excursions. To pay as you go on buses, you must touch your Oyster card on the card reader as you board. On trams, touch your card on the reader at the tram stop before you board
Cash single tickets are valid for travel on the day of issue only
