Special awards
This year Special awards were presented to:
- PC Charlie Irvine, Whitechapel Safer Neighbourhoods team, Metropolitan Police Service
- The Snowhill Division, City of London Police
Each year Rose Ades, Head of the Cycling Centre of Excellence, presents two special awards to teams or individuals which she feels has significantly contributed towards developing and enabling cycling in London.
Criteria for these awards include:
- Leading by personal example
- Collaborative working
- Building or acting on an understanding of interconnections between economic/environmental and cultural issues
- Involving/enabling people
- Changing public attitudes
- Addressing challenging issues
