    From Thursday 18 April until late 2013, as part of the Tube improvement plan both escalators leading to the Northern line ticket hall are being replaced. Passengers using the Northern line ticket hall must use the four large-capacity lifts to/from platform level. Extra staff will be available to minimise delays, however, there may be queues at busy times. Passengers exiting from the Northern or DLR platforms can avoid the queues if they follow signs to the District and Circle lines and leave via Monument station.     No down escalator service until mid October while refurbishment work takes place. Access to the Victoria line and National Rail platforms is via stairs from the ticket hall. AFTER TODAY'S EVENT AT THE EMIRATES STADIUM: a managed queuing system will be in place along the south side of Holloway Road and entry to the station could take up to 90 minutes. Arsenal and Finsbury Park stations will operate the normal post-event queuing system. To avoid the queues start your journey at Archway or Angel stations instead. Please note that Holloway Road station is exit only for up to 90 minutes after events at Emirates Stadium.

    No down escalator service until mid October while refurbishment work takes place. Access to the Victoria line and National Rail platforms is via the stairs from the ticket hall. From 0800 to 0945 and 1700 to 1830 you should allow up to an extra 10 minutes to reach the platforms. To avoid the queues or If you find using the stairs difficult, or are travelling with luggage or pushchairs you may find it easier to start your journey at Holloway Road, Caledonian Road or Angel stations.

    Please note that there will be restricted entry and exit at Holloway Road Station. From 1700 until 2015 each evening, eastbound trains will not serve the station. Then from 2230 each evening, the station will be exit only, in both directions. If you are returning from the concert please start your journey at Arsenal, Finsbury Park, Angel or Archway stations. Highbury & Islington station has no down escalator service and entry to the station could take up to 90 minutes

    Each of the lifts at Russell Square station are being refurbished one at a time. This means that queues to enter and exit the station are likely, especially at busy times.     Work is underway on the Victoria Station Upgrade and there is a one-way system to enter and exit the Victoria line ticket hall. As the works progress other routes through the station may also be subject to change. If you are travelling to London on National Rail services you can save time and avoid queuing in the ticket hall by purchasing your Underground travel at your station of origin. Alternatively, use the Transport for London Travel Information Centre located in the National Rail concourse opposite platform seven. This work is part of the Tube Improvement plan and is scheduled to be complete in 2018.
