How to enter

This competition is open to everyone, from individuals and groups to transport specialists and professional design agencies.

Entry formats

You can submit your designs on paper or digital media (eg CD, DVD, memory stick, memory cards) or a combination of both. The documents must be readable using commonly available office application software (eg the Microsoft Office suite of products, common image and movie viewing software and the Adobe suite of products). Acceptable file formats include .PDF, .JPG, .GIF, .TIFF, .BMP, .DOC, .XLS, .EPS, .AVI, .MOV and .WMV. Please do not submit files in formats used by specialist computer aided design (CAD) software. A maximum file size of 20MB per file applies.

It is important to understand that by submitting an entry, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by the competition's Terms and Conditions and the rules for each category.

Intellectual property rights

In order that the ideas and material entered into this competition (both the design category and the imagine category) can be used by Transport for London (TfL), all prize winners will be required to sign a short agreement under which TfL will acquire the rights in such materials and designs. A copy of the agreement is available on request.

By entering the competition, each entrant confirms that any material submitted is their own idea and has not been copied or borrowed in any way from another design and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
