Programme

Have you ever stopped to think how many people use the Tube? It's easy to get a flavour of our diverse customer base just by visiting one of our stations. All around you there'll be Londoners, tourists and business people who collectively take some three million journeys every day. (That's equivalent to 150,000 people passing through the barriers every hour!) No wonder London Underground is often seen as the backbone of London, a network that keeps the Capital moving all day, every day between High Barnet and Morden, Ealing Broadway and Upminster. We're also a network that's continually evolving. Right now, our updates and improvements include everything from the latest signalling systems to station refurbishments and the Victoria line upgrade.

So let's shed some light on your future and show you what's in store. Three weeks' initial training will introduce you to our business and its various operations. That will be followed by two years of intensive development where you'll work with people all over the company; gain exposure to our huge variety of systems and technology, and begin to understand just how everything works. It offers a fascinating insight into how we work, and you'll get involved with live projects and real work from day one. You'll learn skills that'll be with you for life from colleagues who genuinely value your interest and the contribution you can make.
