Prize draw upon sign-up - terms and conditions

  1. This prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who register in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008, excluding employees and their immediate families of Transport for London, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. If you are using your work computer to access this promotion you may need to obtain your employer's permission prior to entering
  2. No purchase necessary
  3. To enter the draw you must register for the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 at www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge and complete the online questionnaire. Upon completion of the questionnaire you will automatically be entered into the prize draw
  4. There is one prize consisting of a voucher for £150 to be spent at an Evans Cycle Shop store. To claim the prize, proof of age and identity may be required. For details on Evans Cycle Shop stores, please visit the Evans Cycle Shop website. Evans Cycle Shop voucher terms and conditions apply. The winner should familiarise themselves with any voucher expiry date
  5. Registration for the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 closes at 11:59pm on 30 June 2008 ('closing date'). Late entries will not be accepted
  6. The promoter shall not be held responsible for any late, incomplete, corrupted or incorrect registrations as a result of any software or hardware failure, or otherwise
  7. The winner will be drawn at random on 10 July 2008 from all registrations received prior to the closing date under independent supervision and notified by email within 14 days of the closing date
  8. The promoter's decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into
  9. The prize will be sent to the winner at the address shown on their registration form within 21 days of the draw
  10. For name and county of winner, send a stamped self-addressed envelope to LWCC Free Prize Draw, c/o Andy Pidduck, Smarter Travel Unit, Transport for London, 4th Floor Windsor House, 50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL 
  11. Winner details will be made available for a period of four weeks following the draw

Entry into this prize draw does not prevent or preclude entry into the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 weekly prize draw, Free Cycle Training promotion or being a part of an organisation participating in the Best Performing Organisation, Most New Cyclists or Highest Mileage promotions
  14. The prize winner may be required to participate in publicity and promotional activities
  15. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for any prize of an equal or greater value in the event of circumstances beyond its control

Free cycle training places - terms and conditions

  1. This promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who register in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 excluding employees and their immediate families of Transport for London, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.   2. No purchase necessary
  3. Prizes will be awarded to the first 150 people who register for the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 at www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge, answer the on-line questionnaire and answer 'I've never learnt to ride' or 'Not at all' to the question 'How often have you ridden a bicycle in the past three months?'
  4. There are 150 prizes in total each consisting of a full day's cycle proficiency training as provided by Cycle Training UK at any agreed location within Greater London. To claim a prize proof of age and identity may be required
  5. Prize winners must have access to a bicycle to take up the prize. Prize winners will be supplied with contact details for Cycle Training UK and a reference number. Prize winners should arrange their training session directly with Cycle Training UK by supplying their reference number. Training sessions are subject to availability and demand. Training sessions to be taken by prize winners by 31 July 2008
  6. This Promotion will end when the first 150 registrants answering in accordance with condition 3 above have registered or 23.59 on 30 June 2008, whichever is the earlier
  7. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any incomplete, corrupted or incorrect registrations as a result if any software or hardware failure or otherwise.
  8. Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of 30 June 2008
  9. The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into
  10. Best Performing Organisations Award - terms and conditions

Please note that for the purposes of the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 companies and organisations will be classified as follows:

6-24 Employees = Small Organisation 
20-250 Employees = TfL Enterprise Organisation   
251-1,000 Employees = TfL Corporate Organisation   
1,001+ Employees = Large TfL Corporate Organisation 

  1. This promotion is open to all companies and organisations with employees who have individually registered as participants in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008. To register in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 employees should go to www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge and complete the online registration questionnaire. Companies/organisations should register by going to www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge. TFL is excluded from participating in this promotion
  2. No purchase necessary
  3. A prize will be awarded to the company or organisation in each category which achieves the highest percentage of employees/members participating in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008.  Participation is deemed to be the logging a cycle journey during the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 between 1st and 30 June 2008
  4. Where two or more companies/organisations achieve equal highest percentage participation the winning company/organisation will be drawn at random under independent supervision from those with the equal highest percentage participation
  5. There are four weekly phases which are specified as follows: phase one: 1-8 June 2008, phase two: 9-15 June 2008, phase three: 16-22 June 2008, phase four: 23-30 June 2008. Each phase begins at 00.01 on the first day and expires at 23.59 on the last day
  6. Winning companies/organisations will be notified by email by 12 July 2008
  7. There are 4 prizes in total, one for each category, consisting of a trophy and a victory breakfast for each winning company or organisation. The victory breakfast is valued at £250 for Large TfL Corporate Organisations, £150 for TfL Corporate Organisations. £100 for TfL Enterprise Organisations and £75 for Small Organisations
  8. There are two other company/organisation promotions running throughout the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008: Most New Cyclists and Highest Average Mileage. Companies/organisations may win more than 1 promotion and corresponding trophy. Please note if the winning team also wins the Most New Cyclists or the Highest Mileage Award only one prize breakfast will be awarded. Victory breakfasts to be supplied before 31 July 2008 on a date to be agreed between the winning company/organisation and the Promoter
  9. The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into
  10. Trophies will be awarded in the VIP area of the London Freewheel Event 2008 on 21 September 2008  in central London. Exact location to be confirmed in advance of 21 September 2008. A maximum of 20 guests per winning organisation/company will be eligible to attend the prize giving
  11. Companies/organisations with less then five people are not eligible to enter or win this promotion
  12. Closing date is 23.59 on 30 June 2008. Late entries will not be accepted

Most New Cyclists Award

Please note that for the purposes of the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008 companies and organisations will be classified as follows:

6-24 Employees = Small Organisation 
20-250 Employees = TfL Enterprise Organisation   
251-1,000 Employees = TfL Corporate Organisation   
1,001+ Employees = Large TfL Corporate Organisation

  1. This promotion is open to all companies/organisations registered in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008. To register in the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008  companies/organisations should go to www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge. To register individual members/employees should go to www.tfl.gov.uk/cyclechallenge and complete the on-line registration questionnaire. TFL is excluded from participating in this promotion
  2. No purchase necessary
  3. The prize will be awarded to the company/organisation achieving the highest number of members/employees answering 'I've never learnt to ride' or 'Not at all' to the question 'How often have you ridden a bicycle in the past three months?' contained within the registration questionnaire
  4. There is one prize consisting of a trophy and a victory breakfast. The victory breakfast is valued at £250 for Large TfL Corporate Organisations, £150 for TfL Corporate Organisations and £100 for TfL Enterprise Organisations
  5. There are two other company/organisation promotions running throughout the London Workplace Cycle Challenge 2008: Best Performing and Highest Average Mileage. Companies/organisations may win more than 1 promotion and corresponding trophy.   4. The victory breakfast is valued at £250 for Large TfL Corporate Organisations, £150 for TfL Corporate Organisations. £100 for TfL Enterprise Organisations and £75 for Small Organisations
