Special conditions for Barclaycard OnePulse with Oyster
The following additional conditions apply to Oyster on the Barclaycard OnePulse and where they are different from those set out in our Conditions of Carriage, these conditions apply.
1. Special meanings
In these conditions:
- 'we', 'us' and 'our' mean Transport for London (TfL)
- 'it' (where applicable) means Barclaycard
Barclays means Barclays Bank plc of Barclaycard Centre, Northampton, NN4 7SG
Barclaycard OnePulse means a credit card issued by Barclays with Oyster capability
Oyster means Transport for London's Oyster capability on Barclaycard OnePulse
Credit card means payment capability on Barclaycard OnePulse other than Oyster
2. General information about Barclaycard OnePulse
Barclaycard OnePulse is only issued by Barclays. It is not available from any other outlet.
Although your Barclaycard OnePulse includes Oyster, Barclays is a completely separate legal entity from us.
Barclaycard OnePulse is provided by Barclays and it is solely responsible to you for the credit card facility. Separate Terms and Conditions govern the use of your credit card. Your contract with Barclays may be subject to any additional guidance and instructions which Barclays may issue in relation to Barclaycard OnePulse from time to time.
We do not have any liability to you in relation to Barclaycard OnePulse other than in respect of Oyster as set out in our Conditions of Carriage and these Special Conditions.
Barclaycard OnePulse is issued by Barclaycard and no deposit is payable for Oyster.
Barclaycard OnePulse is not transferable so you should not permit its use by anyone else.
Oyster on your Barclaycard OnePulse will be registered automatically with us by Barclays when you apply for your Barclaycard OnePulse whether or not you use Oyster.
3. Ticket and pay as you go balance refunds on Oyster
Refunds are made in accordance with our Conditions of Carriage. To cancel your season ticket and/or money to pay as you go loaded to Oyster on your Barclaycard OnePulse, you must go to a London Underground station ticket office, where your season ticket and/or money to pay as you go will be cancelled.
Please ensure that you get your Barclaycard OnePulse back from the ticket clerk once your season ticket and/or money to pay as you go has been cancelled. If you want to cancel your Barclaycard OnePulse, you should contact Barclays.
4. Replacement and duplicate Barclaycard OnePulse
If your Barclaycard OnePulse is damaged and your credit card no longer works, you should contact Barclays to order a replacement card. You can continue using Oyster on your Barclaycard OnePulse until you receive a replacement card from Barclays. Once you receive a replacement card, you should call the Oyster helpline to transfer any season ticket(s) and/or money to pay as you go loaded on your original card onto the replacement card.
If Oyster on your Barclaycard OnePulse stops working, you should call Barclays to order a replacement card. You should also contact the Oyster helpline to let us know that you cannot use your season ticket and/or pay as you go. Once you have received your replacement Barclaycard OnePulse, you should call the Oyster helpline to transfer any season ticket(s) and/or money to pay as you go loaded on your original card onto the replacement card. If you were unable to use your season ticket, you can claim a refund of the additional fares paid whilst waiting for your replacement Barclaycard OnePulse and for your season ticket to be transferred onto your new card. The refund will only be payable from the time you reported the card failure to the Oyster helpline. If you use Oyster to pay as you go, you should get a new Oyster card and add money to it to pay as you go.When you receive your replacement Barclaycard OnePulse, you can transfer the money to pay as you go onto it from your Oyster card. If you surrender the Oyster card, you can get a refund of any deposit paid.
If your Barclaycard OnePulse is stolen, lost or misused, you should call Barclays immediately to stop the card and order a replacement card. In no event will we be responsible for any transactions relating to your credit card. Barclays will contact us on your behalf to inform us of the loss, theft or misuse in respect of Oyster. On receipt of your replacement Barclaycard OnePulse, you will need to contact the Oyster helpline so that we can transfer any season ticket and/or money to pay as you go onto your new card. You may also be entitled to a refund in accordance with the Conditions of Carriage.
5. Transferring season tickets and/or money to pay as you go
If you wish to transfer your season ticket(s) and/or money to pay as you go between Barclaycard OnePulse and an Oyster card or between two cards of the same type (i.e. between two Barclaycard OnePulse cards or two Oyster cards), you can call the Oyster helpline to make a transfer. However, we are unable to transfer Bus Passes.
6. Changing your personal details
If you wish to change your personal details held by Barclays against your Barclaycard OnePulse, you must contact Barclays. You should also contact the Oyster helpline to change your registered details for Oyster.
7. Auto top-up
If you wish to have Auto top-up on your Barclaycard OnePulse, you can ask a Barclays agent to do this on your behalf when you activate your Barclaycard OnePulse or you can apply via www.tfl.gov.uk/oyster. For details go to www.tfl.gov.uk/oyster.
The use of Auto top-up on your Barclaycard OnePulse is governed by the Terms and Conditions of Auto top-up between you and us in addition to the Special Conditions set out here and the Terms in the contract between you and Barclays.
