- All photocards and tickets are the property of Transport for London (TfL) and are issued in accordance with TfL's Conditions of carriage or call 020 7222 1234 for a hard copy
- In accordance with the Conditions of carriage TfL has the right to refuse to issue a photocard
- As the travel concession is not a statutory right, any breach of these Terms and conditions and/or TfL's Conditions of carriage may result, at the discretion of TfL, in the withdrawal of your Oyster photocard and/ or your travel concession
- TfL reserves the right to terminate or revise this scheme at any time
- TfL reserves the right to amend the Terms and conditions of the scheme at any time
- If this is your first application you will need to pay a £5 fee by credit or debit card. This fee will automatically be deducted from your parent/guardian's credit/debit card account even if your application is subsequently rejected because the photograph is unsuitable. If your application is successful the £5 will be added to your Oyster photocard as credit to pay as you go
- Your photocard will only be available at the Travel Information Centre nominated by you, from the expected collection date you specify in your application, for a maximum period of 14 days, after which it will no longer be available for collection
- You or your parent/guardian must present your original passport, ID card (from European Economic Area country) or birth certificate with the date of birth given in your application when collecting your Oyster photocard
- TfL is not liable for any email undelivered or rejection letter lost or delayed in the post
- No refunds will be made in respect of tickets bought prior to you receiving your Oyster photocard except where it is proven that there was a fault or failure on the part of TfL
- Having been issued with an 11-15 Oyster photocard giving free travel, should you or your parent/guardian subsequently wish to withdraw consent to the Metropolitan Police Service, City of London Police, British Transport Police and any other relevant police service, transferring to Transport for London the information set out in paragraph 2 of the Data Protection statement for the purposes specified, you must contact the Oyster helpline. Arrangements will be made to withdraw the consent, your existing photocard will be stopped and you may then apply for a new photocard without the free travel concession. A £10 fee will be payable
- The Metropolitan Police Service, City of London Police, British Transport Police and any other relevant police services will only share data with Transport for London where consent has been given as part of the application process
- To be eligible for free bus and tram travel (where applicable), on boarding a bus or before boarding a tram, you must validate your Oyster photocard by touching it on a yellow reader and obtain a green light. If using the tram at Wimbledon you must touch in at the gates and again at a yellow reader on the tram platform
- Your free travel concession on London's buses and trams (if applicable), and your eligibility for child-rate travel on Tube, DLR, London Overground and National Rail services, will expire on the date shown on the front of your Oyster photocard
- If your 11-15, 14-15 or Child Oyster photocard has been lost, stolen or is damaged, you will need to apply for a duplicate photocard, paying a non-refundable fee. You must apply online at tfl.gov.uk/photocard or by calling 0845 331 9872*. If appropriate, a refund of the unused value of any ticket product or pay as you go balance on the lost/stolen Oyster photocard will be made on application to the Oyster Ticketing & Refunds office, 55 Broadway, London SW1H 0BD or by calling 0845 330 9876*
- If you obtain a duplicate for a lost, stolen or damaged Oyster photocard, the original will be stopped and will no longer work
- If your 11-15, Under-14 or Child Oyster photocard stops working, call the Oyster helpline on 0845 330 9876* to get a replacement and a refund of any interim travel costs
*For BT residential customers, calls to the Oyster helpline will cost no more than 3.5p per minute (current at August 2008). The price of non-BT phone lines may be different

- You must apply online at tfl.gov.uk/photocard or by calling 0845 0170 330. Calls from BT landlines will be charged with a minimum fee of 5.5p and then up to 4p per minute. Mobile and other network costs may vary. If appropriate, a refund of the unused value of any ticket product or pay as you go balance on the lost/stolen Oyster photocard will be made on application to Oyster Ticketing and Refunds, 55 Broadway, London SW1H 0BD or by calling 0845 330 9876*.
- If you are replacing a lost or stolen card that has not yet expired you must pay a non- refundable fee for every application. If you obtain a replacement for a lost/stolen or failed photocard the original photocard will be stopped and will no longer work.
- Any breach of these Terms and conditions, including the Behaviour code, may result, at the discretion of TfL, in the withdrawal of your Oyster photocard and/ or your travel concession
- TfL reserves the right to terminate or revise this scheme at any time
