- All photocards and tickets are the property of Transport for London (TfL) and are issued in accordance with TfL's Conditions of carriage or call 020 7222 1234 for a hard copy
- In accordance with the Conditions of carriage, TfL has the right to refuse to issue a photocard
- As the travel concession is not a statutory right, any breach of these Terms and conditions and/or TfL's Conditions of carriage, may result, at the discretion of TfL, in the withdrawal of your child's Oyster photocard and/or their travel concession
- TfL reserves the right to terminate or revise this scheme at any time
- TfL reserves the right to amend the Terms and conditions of the scheme at any time
- Application for a 5-10 Oyster photocard can only be made by the parent/guardian, hereafter in these Terms and conditions known as the 'applicant', of the child whose name is entered in the application
- If this is your first application on behalf of your child, you will need to pay a £5 fee by credit or debit card. This fee will automatically be deducted from your credit/debit card account even if the application is subsequently rejected because the photograph is unsuitable. If the application is successful, the £5 will be added to your child's Oyster photocard to pay as you go. A refund of this credit can be obtained from any Tube station ticket office
- Your child's photocard will only be available at the Travel Information Centre nominated by you, from the expected collection date you specify in your application, for a maximum period of 14 days, after which it will no longer be available for collection
- The applicant or the child whose name is on the photocard must present the child's original passport, ID card (from European Economic Area country) or birth certificate with the date of birth given in the application when collecting the Oyster photocard
- TfL is not liable for any email undelivered or rejection letter lost or delayed in the post
- No refunds will be made in respect of tickets bought prior to you receiving the Oyster photocard except where it is proven that there was a fault or failure on the part of TfL
- If travelling unaccompanied on the Tube, DLR or London Overground your child must validate their photocard at the start and end of their journey, by touching it on a yellow reader at the gate or if appropriate, on the platform, and obtain a green light
- Your child's free travel concession on the Tube, DLR and London Overground, and child-rate travel on National Rail services, will expire on the date shown on the front of their Oyster photocard
- If your child's 5-10 Oyster photocard has been lost, stolen or is damaged, you will need to apply for a duplicate photocard, paying a non-refundable fee. You must apply online at tfl.gov.uk/photocard or by calling 0845 331 9872*. If appropriate, a refund of the unused value of any ticket product or pay as you go balance on the lost/stolen Oyster photocard will be made on application to the Oyster Ticketing & Refunds office, 55 Broadway, London SW1H 0BD or by calling 0845 330 9876*
- If you obtain a duplicate of a lost, stolen or damaged Oyster photocard, the original photocard will be stopped and will no longer work
