Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter for this competition is Transport for London, 42-50 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0TL.
- Entry is open to all UK residents excluding employees and the immediate family members of employees of the Promoter, its advisers and agents and anyone professionally connected with the organisation of this competition. Entrants aged under 18 must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to entry, and the Promoter reserves the right to ask for evidence of that consent in writing at any time throughout the duration of the competition, including during and after all winners have been drawn.
- Only one entry per email address.
- Internet access is required for entry.
- No purchase is necessary for participation in this competition.
- Entries must be submitted and received by the Promoter by 10am Wednesday 7th October 2009 ("the Closing Date"). Late entries will not be accepted.
- Entries should be submitted via email headed "Royal Academy competition" to metrocompetitions@tfl.gov.uk. Please insert your name and full address in the text field.
- The Promoter shall not be responsible for late, lost or delayed entries or network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind that may delay or restrict entry. If you are using your work computer to access this competition you may need to obtain your employer's permission prior to entering.
- Any entry made in any other format or which is incomplete, illegible or defaced will be rejected.
- The prizes for this competition are 10 pairs of tickets to Anish Kapoor at the Royal Academy of Art which runs from 26th September 2009 to 11th December 2009 (and, for the first prize winner, an exhibition catalogue and Oyster card wallet). Prize tickets must therefore be used by 11th December 2009. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prizes with a prize of equivalent or higher value in the event of circumstances outside of its control. There is no cash alternative to prizes.
- The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision on Wednesday 7th October 2009 from all correct answer entry emails validly received by the Closing Date. The winners will be the first 10 entry emails drawn.
- The prizes will be sent to the winners at the addresses provided on the winning entry emails by the Promoter's promotional partner within 14 days of the Closing Date.
- The names and boroughs of the winners will be made available upon request via email to metrocompetitions@tfl.gov.uk from Monday 12th October 2009 for 4 weeks. Winners may be required to take part in promotional activities.
- The Promoter's decisions regarding the administration of the competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering into the competition entrants confirm their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award prizes to anyone found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
- By entering into this competition participants acknowledge and agree that their personal data will be retained by the Promoter for the duration of this competition and for the purposes of running this competition. Participants also acknowledge and agree that their name and address as supplied in their entry email may also be supplied to the Promoter's promotional partner for the purposes of fulfilling the prizes.
