Terms and Conditions
  1. The Promoter for this competition is Transport for London, 42-50 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0TL.
  2. Entry is open to all UK residents excluding employees and the immediate family members of employees of the Promoter, its advisers and agents and anyone professionally connected with the organisation of this competition. Entrants aged under 18 must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian prior to entry, and the Promoter reserves the right to ask for evidence of that consent in writing at any time throughout the duration of the competition, including during and after all winners have been drawn.
  3. Only one entry per email address.
  4. Internet access is required for entry.
  5. No purchase is necessary for participation in this competition.
  6. Entries must be submitted and received by the Promoter by 10:00 Thursday 29 October 2009 ('the Closing Date'). Late entries will not be accepted.
  7. Entries should be submitted via email headed 'British Museum competition' to metrocompetitions@tfl.gov.uk. Please insert your name and full address in the text field.
  8. The Promoter shall not be responsible for late, lost or delayed entries or network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind that may delay or restrict entry. If you are using your work computer to access this competition you may need to obtain your employer's permission prior to entering.
  9. Any entry made in any other format or which is incomplete, illegible or defaced will be rejected.
  10. The prizes for this competition are three family tickets to Moctezuma at the British Museum as part of the Day of the Dead celebrations on 1 November 2009 and a copy of the 'Fiesta' book. Prize tickets must be used on 1 November 2009. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prizes with a prize of equivalent or higher value in the event of circumstances outside of its control. There is no cash alternative to prizes.
  11. The winners will be drawn at random under independent supervision on Thursday 29 October 2009 from all correct answer entry emails validly received by the Closing Date. The winners will be the first three entry emails drawn.
  12. Winners will be informed of how they can collect their prizes, by the telephone number provided on the winning entry emails by the Promoter's promotional partner within two days of the Closing Date.
  13. The names and boroughs of the winners will be made available upon request via email to metrocompetitions@tfl.gov.uk from Wednesday 4 November 2009 for four weeks. Winners may be required to take part in promotional activities.
  14. The Promoter's decisions regarding the administration of the competition are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. By entering into the competition entrants confirm their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award prizes to anyone found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  16. By entering into this competition participants acknowledge and agree that their personal data will be retained by the Promoter for the duration of this competition and for the purposes of running this competition. Participants also acknowledge and agree that their name and address as supplied in their entry email may also be supplied to the Promoter's promotional partner for the purposes of fulfilling the prizes.
