Ways to pay
If your penalty charge notice has a 'GT' or 'GF' prefix then you have received it from us (Transport for London) and can pay as listed below.
For Congestion Charging PCNs starting with a 'TL' or 'TF' pay online here.
For Low Emission Zone PCNs starting with a 'LZ' pay online here.
If your PCN does not start with any of these prefixes please contact the relevant issuing borough.
Payment methods
There are a number of ways to pay a penalty charge notice, and we accept all major credit cards, cheques and postal orders.

Online
You can pay PCNs for bus lane and road traffic contraventions through this website.
You will need to provide your penalty charge notice number, vehicle registration number (VRM) and your credit or debit card details. Please keep a note of the receipt number as your proof of payment.
By phone
Our 24-hour automated payment line is open seven days a week on 0845 603 4545. You can use your credit or debit card to make payments. Please ensure that you have your penalty charge notice number when you contact us.

When posting your payment, it is important that you complete the payment slip attached to the PCN and include your cheque, postal order or credit/debit card details.
Your cheque or postal order must be made payable to 'Transport for London' and crossed a/c payee. It is important that you write your PCN number on all correspondence, cheques and postal orders as this makes it easier for us to process your payment.
