Barclays Cycle Hire / How it works

If your cycle's lost or stolen call us on 0845 026 3630 (open 07:00 to 22:00).

You should always put your personal safety first. If the cycle is taken from you by force, call the police (999). Then call the contact centre (0845 026 3630) who will advise you on what to do.

Faulty or damaged cycles

If your cycle breaks down

• Return it to the nearest docking station and secure it in a docking point
• Press the fault button on the docking point within 10 seconds
• Or call 0845 026 3630 (open 07:00 to 22:00)
• Or report it online

If you hire a faulty cycle

• Secure it back in the docking point
• Press the fault button
• Get a new release code
• Choose another cycle

We repair or replace cycles while they're out of action.

Lost or stolen membership keys

If your membership key is lost or stolen, contact us immediately so we can deactivate it. If your key is found by someone else, they could use it to hire or steal a cycle and you would have to pay the charges.
