How to pay

Once registered for Fleet AutoPay payments will be taken monthly by Direct Debit.

If you are not registered for Fleet AutoPay, you can still pay online via your Organisation account but you will need to remember to pay the charge for vehicles for each day they travel in the charging zone either on the day of travel (£8) or by midnight the following charging day (£10).

Here's how Fleet AutoPay works:

Annual vehicle registration charge

You pay a £10 registration charge per vehicle per year. You don't have to pay for vehicles with nine or more seats.

We renew your vehicles automatically. Make sure you remove a vehicle from Fleet AutoPay if you don't wish to renew it. Do it before the vehicle's renewal date, or you'll pay the £10 registration charge again.

Monthly payments

Initially you will need to make a pre-payment based on two-months' estimated usage of the Charging zone by your registered vehicles. Fleet AutoPay is activated as soon as your pre-payment is deducted from your bank account via Direct Debit.

You must continue to pay the charge in the normal way until you receive confirmation from us.

For subsequent months we estimate the payment amount based on the difference between the predicted and actual usage from the previous month.

Ad hoc Charge payments

You can pay the Congestion Charge for vehicles on an ad hoc basis, even if they're not registered on Fleet AutoPay. The charge is added to your monthly statement.

You must add the ad hoc vehicle to Fleet AutoPay by midnight on the day of travel. If not you may still pay the charge online by midnight the following charging day, at the £10 rate, or call us on 0845 900 1234.

Monthly statements

You can view and print your monthly statements online. We'll send an email reminding you to check it.

We don't send out paper statements.
