Cycle maintenance

Cycle maintenance courses

Cycle maintenance is simple and low cost. Your local cycle shop will be able to help or, if you're keen to do it yourself, there are number of cycle maintenance courses available in London.

Advice about cycle maintenance and maintenance courses is available from the Bike For All and London Cycling Campaign websites.

Regular servicing

Service your bike regularly - at least once a year - to ensure it continues to be roadworthy. If your bike has been in storage for over six months it may well be in need of a little care to get it back into condition. See Cycle maintenance tips for advice on how to do this.

Cycle shops

An extensive list of cycle shops in London is available from the Bike For All website. Please also visit the Association of Cycle Traders website to find out which shops are registered members of this organization.
