London Underground Project Delivery Scheme
London Underground is one of the most iconic transport networks in the world. Yet it's also the oldest. Our landmark 'Transforming the Tube' programme will address that, making extensive improvements to make it run more smoothly than ever.
This is a major upgrade that will increase capacity across the network by almost 30 per cent. It'll also take around 10 years, which gives an idea of the scale of the work we're doing - and just how inspiring it is to be a part of it.
London Underground's Projects Directorate is vital in delivering this extensive project - and in keeping London moving throughout the period of investment.
As well as supporting the delivery of the best possible service to our passengers, our focus is very firmly fixed on delivering projects. That means ensuring that we can clearly see the benefits of the TfL Investment Programme, Public Private Partnership, Private Finance Initiatives and other third party contracts - and that the projects are delivered. Not just that they're delivered on time, either; we must make sure that they provide value for money. Making the areas of procurement and commercial management more important than ever.

In each one, you'll contribute significantly to the transformation of London's Tube network. During your two years on the scheme you'll work closely with delivery, procurement and commercial teams. You'll enjoy exceptional experience of major infrastructure projects and help us to deliver a world-class Tube for a world-class city.
