PCN advice

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are used to keep London's traffic moving, but dealing with them can be a time-consuming and costly process.

Our PCN advice programme will help you reduce the number of PCNs your vehicles receive and minimise the impact that dealing with them can have on your business.

As well as receiving advice and guidance, our members can attend workshops and benefit from on-site advisory visits.

We're also working with other organisations and the London boroughs to develop a more coordinated approach to PCNs across the Capital.

About PCNs

A Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is issued for a parking or driving offence and imposes a financial penalty on the vehicle owner. It shows the vehicle details, location, date and time where the offence took place, and the charge amount.

PCNs are issued by civil enforcement officers or police officers. Often they are automatically sent to the vehicle owner, if the alleged offence is captured on CCTV.
