Bronze membership
To gain bronze membership you need to show that you have the management systems, policies and procedures in place to meet the standards set out in the FORS specification.
The specification covers standards on:
- Drivers and driver management
- Vehicle maintenance and fleet management
- Transport operations
- Performance management
These will be checked during a formal company assessment carried out on your premises by an independent FORS assessor.
See the Bronze members list (PDF 114.57KB)
Silver membership
Currently, members inputting six months' continuous data into the FORS benchmarking system are eligible for silver status.
From 2011 onwards, there will be defined performance thresholds to achieve or maintain silver membership.
See the Silver members list (PDF 43.80KB)
Gold membership
Members need to use the FORS benchmarking and meet performance thresholds to progress to gold. We expect to award the first gold memberships in early 2011.
FORS specification standards
The FORS specification underpins the scheme and defines the standards you need to meet to gain bronze FORS membership.
