• New data means app developers can now access locations of all TfL public toilets to help improve transport information products
  • Enhanced data feed now shows locations of facilities in bus stations

App developers can now use a new data feed to include every public toilet on the TfL network in their travel information products.  

A new data set is now available via the TfL Data Store for app developers to use free of charge. In addition to listing the location of TfL's public toilets on London Overground, London Underground and DLR stations, the new enhanced data feed now includes bus station toilets.   A map showing where public toilets are on the transport network is already available on the TfL website.   

This is the latest data set to be made available under TfL's open data policy, enabling developers to use its data ('APIs') free of charge. Over 2,000 developers are registered to receive these and hundreds of travel information apps have been produced as a result.  

Vernon Everitt, Managing Director of Customer Experience, Transport for London said: `We hope that this latest set of data will help app and other product developers produce even more useful travel products for our customers.`
