Description of service: Going Places is a project for adults with disabilities over the age of 18 to become volunteer travel assistants for other adults with learning disabilities. Training will be covered across the borough of Barnet.

Wandsworth TravelmateDescription of service: Provide independent travel training, mentoring and "buddying" to enable vulnerable people to access public transport as independently as possible. Travel Buddy is a service which provides support for people with Learning Disabilities to travel on public transport safely. They arrange accompanied travels with people to leisure and work venues in Wandsworth. The Travel Buddy scheme also employs buddies and uses volunteers who support people to use public transport.
