East London Transit
The service will improve access to employment opportunities, leisure, retail and services for the local community, helping to regenerate areas on both sides of the river.
You'll enjoy:

Consultation
The three separate routes that will make up the ELT are:
- Barking town centre to Dagenham Dock via Barking Riverside
- Ilford to Dagenham Dock via Barking town centre
- Barking town centre to Abbey Wood and Woolwich via the proposed Thames Gateway Bridge

Barking town centre to Dagenham Dock via Barking Riverside
Following a public consultation in May 2007, option B was chosen from the four possible routes.
This will run from Barking town centre through River Road and into Thames Road, down into Creek Road then Long Reach Road and into Barking Riverside. Read more in the press release and view option B in the Consultation document.
