Cross River Tram

Cross River Tram logo Proposals to build an on-street tram link running between Euston and Waterloo, with branches to Camden Town and King's Cross in the north, and Brixton and Peckham in the south, are on hold due to constraints on our funding.

Future work will now concentrate on working with the boroughs, the London Development Agency and the Greater London Authority to assess potential alternatives to the scheme.

Recommendations from the study will form part of a future bid to Government for more funding.

The TfL Business Plan 2009/10 - 2017/18 will deliver a number of transport improvements to the communities along the route, including increased capacity and more frequent services on the Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly Underground lines.
