You stated in writing The cameras are “considered low risk” , therefore TFL dont know the risk to the public and to public health
Its all a consideration and assumption they are safe , TFL needs to go back to the drawing board and find out for sure what the risk is with evidence and facts .
There are no facts to support the safety of these cameras .
Considerations are not good enough when it comes to the safety of the public , based on your statement TFL are putting public safety at risk .
Which individual has signed them of as being fit for purpose and therefore accountable and liable.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 April 2024 asking for information about ULEZ cameras.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR)and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. All equipment used by TfL has the correct approvals in place to be used on the public highway. TfL’s ULEZ ANPR cameras meet the below approvals.
The Sicore 2 ANPR camera as a product itself is CE approved. This signifies that these cameras sold in the European Economic Area (EEA) have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements, as set out by the European Commission. Therefore TfL did not need to have separate approvals set up for the usage of the Sicore 2 ANPR cameras as proposed by Yunex.
More general information on how the cameras are used to support the operation of road user charging schemes in compliance with data protection legislation is available on our website using the following links:
