Oxford Street
Bus route changes
A section of Oxford Street between Newman Street and Tottenham Court Road, will be closed from January 2010 to eastbound traffic.
Buses travelling east will be subject to diversion and some stops will be relocated.
Changes will start 16 January 2010 and run until November 2010.

Route 25
This route terminates and starts at New Oxford Street. The westbound service will be terminating here rather than running to Oxford Circus (this is the only westbound service affected).
Routes 73, N73
These routes will turn left at Oxford Circus onto Regent Street, head up Portland Place and then turn right onto Euston Road. They will rejoin the current route at the junction with Tottenham Court Road.
Routes 10, N10, 390
These routes will turn left from Oxford Street onto Newman Street, then right onto Goodge Street and left onto Tottenham Court Road.
Routes 7, N7
These routes will turn left from Oxford Street onto Newman Street, then right onto Goodge Street. They will cross Tottenham Court Road onto Chenies Street continuing right onto Gower Streeet, Keppel Street, Malet Street and Montague Place, and their destination, Russell Square.
Routes 55, N55, 98, N98, 8, N8 and N207
These routes will turn left from Oxford Street onto Newman Street, then right onto Goodge Street. They will then cross Tottenham Court Road onto Chenies Street continuing right onto Gower Strreet, down to New Oxford Street.
New bus stops
New temporary bus stops will be provided along the diversion route to offer passengers more choice. These will be situated on Chenies Street, Gower Street and Montague Place.
Walking
Footways along Oxford Street will be maintained, but may be narrowed at some points.
Cycling
Oxford Street will be closed to all traffic from Newman Street to Tottenham Court Road from 16 January 2010 until November 2010.
