Highbury & Islington

Highbury and Islington station We are looking at ways of improving the facilities and appearance of the station and surrounding area at Highbury Corner, and making it easier to access.

You would be able to change transport more quickly and safely, and enjoy new areas of open space around the station.

Highbury Corner is a busy transport hub and a landmark within the local community. The current layout of the buildings and the roundabout make Highbury and Islington station difficult to access and the local environment could be much improved.

We are busy developing the proposals with Islington Council. They are subject to securing planning permission and funding.
