We received 350 responses to the questionnaire that we sent out. The main things people told us were:- Your main concerns are the speed of traffic and lack of signals
- The crossing at Avenue Park Road is less important to you than the crossings at Lovelace Road and Lancaster Avenue
Your main concerns are the speed of traffic and lack of signals - Your preferred solution is to install crossings with signals to replace the current zebra crossings. Of the combinations of options, your preferred solution is to install crossings with signals together with cycle lanes
- You generally accept that car journeys on Thurlow Park Road could become slower and that it may take longer to install signals than other measures
Drop in speeds

Next steps
- The London Camera Partnership are checking speeds. We can't do this indefinitely because there are other priorities in the borough
- Completing the design of cycle lanes along the road and plan to implement them in early 2008
- Working with the Elm Court school development to see that a crossing with signals is put into place at Lovelace Road during 2008
- Adding signals to the junction with Lancaster Avenue that we plan to implement in 2009 / 2010
