People getting on a tram Trams are clean, green and more accessible We have been working on the proposals for Cross River Tram with the Cross River Partnership and the boroughs the tram would go through.

The Cross River Partnership is made up of representatives from four boroughs as well as other public and private organisations.

We had a really positive response to the public consultation in 2001 on the principle of a new street-running service linking Peckham, Brixton, Camden and King's Cross. The Mayor announced in 2002 that he was asking us to take the tram project forward.
