Routes 228 and 316

Bus We consulted stakeholders and the public about introducing new bus route 228, and on extending bus route 316 between St Charles Hospital and White City bus station.

After careful consideration of all responses and related issues, we have now reached a decision.

Route 228 - Central Middlesex Hospital to Maida Hill

The new route between Chippenham Road, Maida Hill and Central Middlesex Hospital has gone ahead as originally intended.

There was an alteration to the route in Hammersmith and Fulham, where the service now goes in both directions along Old Oak Common Lane, Uxbridge Road, Bloemfontein Road and South Africa Road.

The 228 service started in January 2009.

Route 316 - St Charles Hospital to White City

We extended this route from St Charles Hospital to White City bus station, travelling along St Mark's Road, St Ann's Road, Holland Park Avenue and Ariel Way.

The route began on in November 2008.

Consultation issues

We are still in contact with some stakeholders about these bus routes and will be continuing our discussions with them.
