The proposed changes were to:
- Serve Tamworth Lane and Eastfields as well as Pollards Hill and Recreation Way
- Extend from Coulsdon Town Centre to Coulsdon South Station
- Go along Coomber Way and Beddington Farm Road (ASDA) instead of straight down Beddington Lane (was subject to a previous consultation involving route 455)
After receiving supportive feedback and approval from Merton, Sutton and Croydon Councils, we plan to go ahead with the changes.
We still have to deliver new bus stops and change Tamworth Lane width restriction and Recreation Way gated closure (opening for buses only).
We expect the route changes to be complete by December 2009.
We will let you know about the changes before they happen.
