Woolwich Arsenal DLR
Initially trains will depart from Woolwich Arsenal DLR station to Bank and Canning Town and ultimately direct to Stratford in time for 2012.

Benefits
The Woolwich Arsenal extension will:
- Offer an alternative crossing of the River Thames for the communities of Woolwich, Silvertown and North Woolwich
- Provide a new direct rail connection from Woolwich to the City and Canary Wharf and London City Airport
- Offer spectators to the 2012 Games a fast and efficient link to the Woolwich Royal Artillery Barracks, which will host the shooting events
- Offer passengers an environmentally friendly alternative to the car
- Help to bring new jobs, homes, shops and leisure facilities to Woolwich and the Southern Royal Docks
- Provide a direct link with main line services on the North Kent line, the planned Greenwich Waterfront Transit scheme, over 100 bus routes, eight Underground lines and coach, taxi and riverboat services
