What do we consult about?
We carry out consultations on bus service changes. These can include:
- The route a bus takes or new routes
- Bus types (eg double deck or Bendy bus)
- Operational hours and frequencies of buses
- Large scale changes to the bus network
Who do we consult?
Many stakeholders are consulted, but the purpose of this section is to hear bus users' views and get their feedback using questionnaires.
What happens to the results?
All feedback is considered in decision making. However, the final plans must meet financial, legal, safety and technical limitations.
Some decisions are made jointly with partners, such as the boroughs or other community representatives.
