Brixton town centre
Phase one and two of the project saw upgrades to facilities for pedestrians, bus users, drivers and cyclists, which has improved road safety and access to the town centre.
On the A23 Brixton Road between Stockwell Road and Coldharbour Lane, footways have been widened, additional sections of bus lanes introduced and general street clutter removed.
The third and final phase of works to transform Brixton Town Centre will create a new square for the community.
