What's happening?

We're undergoing a tendering and procurement process to select a construction partner to help us carry out the works, which will be completed in stages.

Background

Our works at Gants Hill support proposals in Redbridge Council's Area Action Plan. This plan outlines policies aimed at revitalising Gants Hill town centre and is available from Redbridge Council.

The works also form part of the Mayor's Public Spaces Programme, which involves creating or upgrading 100 public spaces in London. They are being funded by us and the Department for Communities and Local Government. More information is available from the Greater London Authority.
