Transforming the Bakerloo line

We can't work on all lines at the same time, and unfortunately the Bakerloo will be the last line to be upgraded.

But once completed, improved signalling and a new control centre will make travelling on the line faster and more reliable, while new trains will improve passenger comfort and safety.

The upgrade will see average journey times reduced by more than two minutes, and capacity during peak times increased by over 50 per cent.
