Under the Railways and Other Guided Transport Systems (Safety) Regulations 2006, London Underground has to apply to the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) for certification and authorisation to operate trains, stations and infrastructure safely.
Our application for Safety Certification and Authorisation was made in November 2006 and, following assessment by ORR, our application was approved in March 2007.
This approved document replaces the Railway Safety Case (Version 4.0) which was withdrawn in 2007.
