TfL's response to the Network Rail's Cross London Route Utilisation Strategy Consultation

Transport for London (TfL) London Rail has submitted a formal response to Network Rail's (NR) consultation based on the Silverlink Metro Rail Corridor Plan (RCP) study undertaken by TfL London Rail.

The RCP has been prepared in close consultation with the DfT and NR and proposes measures to address current and forecast levels of crowding on the Silverlink Metro service group. This service group covers the North London Line, the West London Line, Euston to Watford local services and the Gospel Oak to Barking Line.

The recommendations take into consideration the service requirements for the Olympics, and are set in the context of TfL assuming responsibility for the North London Railway in the autumn of 2007.
