Transport for London

Take a stand

28 February 2011

The popular 'Take a Stand' scheme is again accepting requests from the business community for free cycle stands.

This will build on the success of this popular scheme, which has provided 3,000 free cycle stands, installed at more than 250 business premises across London, since it began in 2007.

The offer is open to any business within the Capital with a minimum of 50 employees, or a BID that represents a number of businesses with a total employee number of at least 50, and can provide up to 20 free bolt in Sheffield stands, which can accommodate up to 40 cycles.

The scheme is available across London, and complements the wider offers currently available to businesses adjacent to the new Barclays Cycle Superhighways.

The business or BID is responsible for the installation, maintenance and liability of the stands once delivered.

Don't forget to obtain planning consent where required.

If you are interested in claiming your free stands, or would like further information, please contact TfL at Worktp@tfl.gov.uk
