Due to track replacement work to improve the Northern line, the southbound Bank branch between Camden Town and Kennington will be closed on Saturday and Sunday 29-30 October and 5-6 November 2005.

The southbound Bank branch of the Northern line will be affected

In addition, Northern line trains will not be stopping at Elephant & Castle in either direction on these weekends because of station modernisation work.

The work is part of the TfL five-year £10bn investment programme and is being undertaken by Tube Lines.

During these closures passengers should allow up to an extra 30 minutes for their journeys.

Leaflets are available at central London and Northern line stations which detail alternative travel options and maps.
