Journey Planner now free on BT Internet Kiosks

19 May 2004

TfL's Journey Planner, the on-line travel information service, is now available for free on BT Internet Kiosks.

Kiosks featuring Journey Planner can be found at 500 locations across London, on the street, London Underground and major rail stations.

The Kiosks already "know" where they are located in London, so all the user has to do is enter the address, bus / Tube stop, postcode or place of interest they are visiting and Journey Planner will work out how to get there by bus, Tube, tram, rail or even walking.

To find out how to travel to Tate Modern, for example, type 'Tate Modern' under place of interest, submit the inquiry and the Journey Planner will bring up a range of travel options, including the quickest route and how much it will cost to travel.
