Transport for London

A406 Harrow Rd and Neasden Lane improvement works

19 July 2004

As part of our continued work to improve conditions on London's roads Transport for London (TfL) will be carrying out improvement works to the A406 North Circular Road between Harrow Road and Neasden Lane starting from 19 July 2004.

The improvement works, which will finish by the end of November, will include resurfacing and footbridge repainting.

TfL's Director of Road Network Operations Keith Ollier says of the works;

"These necessary works to this stretch of the A406 will improve conditions for drivers."

Traffic management: As London's population continues to grow there will be increasing demands placed on our public transport system and TfL aims to deliver the improvements that will match London's future needs. This can only be achieved with continued support from Government. TfL will balance its budget whatever happens, but without additional funding essential sustained improvement to the road network will not take place.
