Policing of Chelsea Harbour rank

28 February 2005

There have been problems with unattended cabs being parked on the Chelsea Harbour rank during matches at Chelsea Football Club.

This practice is preventing the rank from being used for the purpose for which it is intended - the picking up of fares. The rank provides a valuable service to people who live in the area.

Drivers should note that the rank is on a private road and will be policed in whatever way the Chelsea Harbour Estate decides is necessary.

Drivers are asked not to leave their cabs unattended on the rank.
