Central line closure due to White City development works

Due to engineering works as part of the White City development, the Central line will be suspended between North Acton and Marble Arch on Sunday 12 June.

A special shuttle train service will operate from North Acton to Ealing Broadway and West Ruislip.

Two rail replacement bus services will operate:

Service A
Between North Acton and Willesden Junction

Service B
Between North Acton and Shepherd's Bush

Passengers travelling from west London to central London should use the Rail Replacement Bus Service A and the Bakerloo line between Willesden Junction and Oxford Circus.

Passengers travelling from central London to North Acton and beyond are advised to take the Central line to Oxford Circus and change for the Bakerloo line and the Rail Replacement Bus Service A.

Alternative routes

Alternatively, passengers may wish to use the following services where valid London Underground tickets will be accepted:

Passengers are advised to allow an extra half hour to complete their journeys, especially those travelling from stations west of Marble Arch into central London and wishing to make last train connections.

Please note that due to engineering work, there is no Circle line or District line service between Earl's Court and Whitechapel stations.
