Track improvement works on the Central Line

The Central line will be suspended between Grange Hill and Newbury Park on the weekend of the 18/19 June 2005, due to track improvement works taking place between Grange Hill and Hainault.

Customers are advised to allow an extra 15 minutes

The works are being carried out by Metronet BCV.

A rail replacement bus service will operate between Grange Hill and Newbury Park calling at all intermediate stations.

Passengers travelling from Hainault, Fairlop and Barkingside should use the rail replacement service to/from Newbury Park and change there for the train service.

Passengers travelling from Grange Hill to Roding Valley stations will enjoy a direct service to central London.

Customers are advised to allow an extra 15 minutes to complete their journeys, especially those wishing to make the last train connections.
