Refurbishment work to improve Eastcote station

Refurbishment work to improve Eastcote station as part of Transport for London's five-year £10bn investment programme will commence on Sunday 14 August, and will continue until mid-December 2005.

Eastcote station will close at 2100 from Sunday to Thursday while work is carried out

While this refurbishment work takes place, Eastcote station will close at 2100, Sunday to Thursday.

A replacement bus service will be in operation after 2100 between Rayners Lane and Ruislip stations.

The refurbishment works to be undertaken by Metronet Rail SSL will include the restoration of heritage features, the replacement of CCTV cameras, installation of customer Help Points, an enhanced public address system, new wall tiles, improved lighting and ceilings, and tactile strips on platforms and stairs, along with contrasting handrails.
