Transport for London

Jubilee line track improvements mean no trains between Waterloo and Wembley Park

22 September 2005

Due to track replacement work to improve the Jubilee line, it will be suspended between Waterloo and Wembley Park on Saturday and Sunday 24 and 25 September.

The Metropolitan line will also be suspended south of Wembley Park.

Transport for London (TfL) is investing £10 billion over the next five years to improve and expand London's transport network, more than half of that in the Tube.

This track work is being carried out by Tube Lines.

Customers for Central London are advised to use Chiltern services from Harrow-on-the-Hill to Marylebone.

Or an express Rail Replacement Bus Service C, which will run non-stop between Wembley Park and Stonebridge Park (for connection with the Bakerloo line).

For passengers wishing to travel between intermediate stations, two further replacement bus services will be operating during the closure.
