An LU spokesperson said: "We are pleased that, following constructive talks held with RMT yesterday, they have called of this Thursday's strike.
"This follows ASLEF's decision to do the same yesterday.
"We have maintained throughout that the best way to resolve all issues is through discussion and consultation.
"We will continue to meet with the trade unions to discuss and resolve all issues."
