Planned industrial action by Metroline - Monday 20 November 2006

Metroline bus drivers may be holding a second 24-hour strike, beginning at 04.00 on Monday, 20 November, 2006.

Talks are ongoing between Metroline and the Transport & General Workers' Union (T&GWU), and it is hoped they will reach agreement over the 2006 pay settlement without inconveniencing thousands of Londoners through strike action.

Metroline operates 60 bus routes, mostly in North/North West London, operating out of the following garages:

Transport for London (TfL) is working to keep passenger disruption to a minimum, and we would ask that passengers check their route and listen to media travel updates before they travel on Monday.

Where possible, we would advise passengers to use alternative means of transport.
